This section contains Game Genie codes for Mega Man X, X2, and X3. It has been said that X2 and X3 don't work with the Game Genie, but I have tried almot all of these codes personally, and I can confirm that they do indeed work. I don't know how many people still use Game Genie, especially since the first three games have been out for quite awhile now, but hey, it can be fun...


Mega Man X

C9B8-4769 -- Cross weapons. Shoot a weapon, then switch to the regular hot to get a cross weapon. Select another weapon and switch back to the regular shot to cross both special weapons. Continue the process to your liking. Works with the fireball.

C2B4-1FF7 -- X is intangible to enemies
C2B7-1FF7 -- No recoil from injuries
2FB9-1D27 -- All hits take 1 bar away from your energy
9DB0-4F01 -- Automatic rapid fire
DDB0-4FA1 -- Disable weapon charging
DDB4-4F61 -- Glow brighter when charging
DDB1-4F61 -- Charge to first power level faster
DDB5-4F61 -- Level 2 won't fire
DDB8-4FA1 -- Level 3 won't fire
FDB5-CD97 -- All enemies are defeated in one X-Buster shot
6DB4-CD97 -- Enemies are invincible
6DB0-CD97 -- Some bulletproof enemies lose that attribute, while other non-bulletproof enemies become bulletproof
6DB6-CD97 -- Normal shots pass through enemies and can only injure the first enemy they hit. Level 3 and 4 shots and some special weapons continue firing until the enemy is destroyed.
6DBA-CD97 --After shooting enemies enough to destroy them, you can run through them, but they can still shoot you.


Mega Man X2

DC2C-046D -- no dots appear when charging
DC2A-046D -- Enemies come back (like the bosses) and your shots go through them
DC21-076D -- Glitch Code: it freezes the game, and does nothing else as far as I know
EE66-D4A1 -- 1st shot suspended: Dash, then jump, then fire
0166-D4A1 -- only two shots can be on screen: again, dash, then jump, then fire
DC2A-070D -- no enemies or platforms: turn off GG to get them to come back, and turn GG off before entering boss level
D5C5-6DB8 Super jump
DBC5-6DB8 Mega jump
D8C5-6DB8 Ultra mega jump
6D2D-AF14 Makes your normal weapon MUCH more powerful! You can kill most enemies with just 1 shot.
828A-DFC4 Infinite special weapons (once you have them). Only works if you don't power-up the special weapons.
828A-DFC4 + 828E-D414 Infinite special weapons (once you have them). Works even if you power-up the special weapons. (Doesn't work on Bubble Splash.)


Mega Man X3

EE2A-070D Messy menu--doesn't seem to affect gameplay
EE63-D4A1 Level 1 shots fired to the right start to go LEFT then do a U-turn to the right
EE62-D4A1 after firing for a while, level 1-3 shots are disabled
EE6F-D4A1 Sparkles behind level 3-5 shots fly in a straight line
EE60-D4A1 Sparkles behind level 3-5 shots fly across screen twice--
SIDE EFFECTS:
Slowdown--weak in some places, extreme in others

82CB-0D2F Infinite special weapons (once you have them). Only works if you don't power-up the special weapons.
82CB-0D2F + 82CA-0F2F Infinite special weapons (once you have them). Works even if you power-up the special weapons.
EE29-D7D1 Large life balls instantly fill an entire subtank, although small life balls do not add anything. If you fill two or more in this way, you actually get a bonus tank (for example, if you have 4 tanks, you get 5 charges out of them)
196A-D405 This code is still in development, but it's the best out there for now. Both Zero's and X's lightsaber weapons (level 5) rapid-fire huge energy waves (think of how X's sword normally works, in a long stream, that also works for Zero). It constantly shoots off in the direction that you first used the sword; turning around doesn't move it. The code can be turned on and off at will. In fact, dialogue will not start until you turn the wave off, and you MUST NOT use the wave against Mac or Doppler. On the plus side, it still does 16 damage to any other boss, and X can deactivate the wave simply by choosing a different weapon from the menu (L and R do not work while the wave is firing)..
